EIS Disabled Members Network

The Disabled Members Network is a new network space for all members who identify as disabled, and for members who would be entitled to reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act (2010). The Network is open to, among others, Autistic members, members with long-term hearing impairments, and those with long-term illness that affects their everyday lives.

The Disabled Members Network:

  • Connects EIS members who are disabled with colleagues from across Scotland
  • Informs the Equality Committee and EIS work on equality issues
  • Provides tailored opportunities for members to attend events, CPD, conferences and seminars
  • Keeps members up to date with equality news and initiatives
  • Gives members the chance to shape EIS policy

The next meeting of the EIS Disabled Member Network will take place on Wednesday 13 December, from 16:30-18:00, online, via Teams.

Please register your interest in attending by completing the online booking form.

Further details about the meeting will follow. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email Grace.
